I'm in Lafayette, Louisiana for the weekend, on business.

I was looking for some place to go party tonight. Anyone know where to go for fun in this town ?

I live here, I am going get wasted tommorow night after my FE exam. Wanna join me? You could always go to downtown alive, but its going on right now as I type this. Lots of local bands, and downtown is ok. Cheap beer is on the strip, but you gotta fight over the 3.50 pitchers with the 19 year olds.

definitley looking for good live music. The place is called "Alive" ? I was also told to check out Club410, but it just looks like a plain ol' dance club.

I just checked out some of those bands playing tonight, and they sound pretty cool. I think I may check the Grant Street Dance Hall out.

What type of music do you like? Those are indy rock bands mostly, not really my thing but they are cool guys andknow most of the people in the bands. Wizards of Boat usually put on an entertaining show.

I'm pretty content with any good live music. Indy, Jazz, Classic-Rock, Funk, etc.

I'd rather avoid a club, unless the DJ is known to be pretty good.
