exceptions to the rule: a girlfriend/wife who wants to go with a guy and his pals. a recipe for disaster. i know im going to get guys who say 'i took my wife with me and my buds and she got a lapdance and it was an awesome time'. yeah, awesome for you and your wife, sucks for your friends. they hold back how they would normally act, especially if your girl is friends with their girlfriends.

plus a strip club trip with your friends is just about the epitome of a guys night out, dont ruin it for everyone else by bringing her into the skanktuary. you just dont see guys pressing their girl to go to a bunco party or something. ive expressed this opinion before and a lot of people disagree with it, but for me its just one of those things.

I've had two female friends that have asked me to go to strip clubs.

One was bisexual, and I gave her as many bills as she wanted and had the best time of my life. Some of the dancers are into, uh, girls, and will really get nuts when another chick is giving them attention. The trick is finding out which ones, which might involve asking a bouncer or bartender or something.

The other was an ex-dancer herself even though she lied about it, and I didn't find it a lot of fun because for her it was nothing but shop.

not sure what category your honey is in, but I hope it's not #2. I'm also assuming we're going to watch naked women dance around and not dudes.
