Automatics aren't much easier with the high stall torque converters. Lots of brake riding at low speeds.

This. I'm willing to bet most males that frequent this forum would have serious trouble driving a car like that. You have no idea how that kind of carberated horse power with a stiff clutch drives. It practically has two modes, on and off.

That being said, after seeing the first few seconds of her driving, she had no place being behind the wheel of any car with more than 100 HP.

also, theflyingpig, crawl back under your bridge until you have something useful to contribute or at least something that can even be remotely considered intelligent humor.

Fucking idiots who let her drive that. Should have noticed her trying to back out and made her stop the car.

Guy at right after she crashes "Yep, she did it, I knew she would"

Well why did you let her drive by herself a car that was waaay to much car for her to handle. Fucking idiots.

The odds of that being a real cobra are basically zero.

And if statistics aren't enough, the fiberglass body means that it's a kit car.

Doesn't mean it's cheap. A new body + paint will probably set the owner back fifteen grand.

Most likely
- She normally drives an automatic and
- She was unfamiliar with that car. It takes a little bit of experimentation to get the feel for how far you have to release the clutch before it catches.

That's brutal. This is why GFs are evil. They want to try all your stuff and they end up breaking it. In this case it could of even endangered lives.

Clearly she had no clue how to handle that car, why in the hell did he let her drive it without proper training or in a open area that wouldn't have been possible to hit anything?

:(

I doubt the insurance company will pay out enough to cover a replacement body and a high quality paint job - their list of approved painters is probably limited to places like Maaco and I bet they'd rather he cheaply repair the fiberglass than replace the whole body.

what happen?

She's an idiot. Either that, or every single control in that car was placed differently from every other car made :^S

Even though it's a kit, that was still a big chunk of money she took out. After seeing her performance backing the car up, she's have been out if it were my car.

it doesn't even matter if the controls are different. The steering wheel and brakes are universal, she had no exuse to be in the wrong lane and then, from the looks of it not even attempt to regain control of the car.

More than likely she was trying to regain control. Once you exceed traction which esp in the rain a car like this can hit instantly, you are just along for the ride until things slow back down enough for traction to be had.

She had all of about 10-15' though which was not enough.

Roof looks like shit, and wow, why was she allowed to continue to drive when she couldn't even smoothly back the car up?
