He is the no. 1 high school football recruit in the country, and the biggest football recruit in many years.

Also, he just did this recently in basketball.

WOW

All he has to do is put in 1 year at college and then it's straight to the NBA. He will most likely have a higher salary and a much lower chance of career ending injury in that league.

That's one very physically gifted kid.

Hopefully he has a decent head on his shoulders too.

Actually, many people think football is his best sport. I've seen plenty of coverage of Pryor all year but it's getting a bit over the top. A couple weeks ago he and his father called a news conference to announce.... that Pryor had not yet selected a college. Not exactly worthy of a news conference.

One smart thing he's doing is getting together regularly with Steelers QB Charlie Batch (who is also from this area) to get advice from someone who isn't going to personally profit from the situation.

Word on the street is that he's leaning towards Ohio State for football, as that is his primary sport. However, he would rather go to the NBA than the NFL due to less physical wear on your body.

He had a triple-double? I know one guy NC State is recruiting is AVERAGING a triple-double this season. But it's still good when guy can get one.

Personally, I wouldn't recruit the guy in the OP's post...he'll be a one-and-done player, and won't stay long enough to help your team.

National Signing day was Feb. 6, that was the day of his press conference. He was the only top recruit not to sign a letter of committment to a school. Which to me means he is not serious about playing football. I agree Pacfanweb, hes going to do a Kevin Durant and pull a one and done and go to the NBA.

More money and a guaranteed contract in the NBA

Better than faking an announcement that he had picked Cal.

Plus, if he is really that good, he could probably go straight to the NBA and make big money right away. If he picked football, he would have to risk injury for three years of no (reported) pay.

Smart move. Also much less chance to bomb in the NBA. Michael Vick will attest that being a great athlete won't guarantee you success in the NFL.

Heh, he'll just be the next Bo Jackson.....two sport pro athlete, in the NFL and NFL....LOL. Like to see his schedule with *that* one.

"Terrelle Knows" doesn't quite roll off the tongue like "Bo Knows", though. :)
