Lack of these features on 6700K important?

It didn't bother 4790K sales...
Devil's Canyon actually incorporated VT-d and TSX, which the Ci7 4770K didn't had. I suppose I ranted about that long enough for someone to notice it, since before, no one cared. VT-d was considered a useless feature, but besides doing PCI Passthrough to a VM (Which is required if you want to have a full Video Card inside a VM), Windows 10 has a Device Guard that also uses it.
vPro and TXT are even more niche than it. vPro is pretty much for remote management, including system POST. It is useful on business enviroments.

i5-4690k and i7-4790k has VT-d, but not TSX, acording to intel ark.

And the ark also says the 6600k and 6700k has both vt-d and tsx
