A lot of times when I go without enough sleep, I get headaches, but the strange thing is that I don't always get them. What exactly causes them, and how can I prevent them and still go without sleep? Sometimes even high does of caffeine aren't enough for me to ignore them.

advil, tylenol, motrin, aspirin

A short nap usually isn't enough to make a headache go away, IME. Actually, it usually makes them worse, for me.

make sure you only take the recommended dose of the tylenol/aspirin/etc. taking more doesn't make it act faster and can hurt your body.

[/the more you know]

on a seperate note, go see a doctor is it happanes frequently.
