I bought one of these real cheap (after MIR) from CompUSA a long time ago as a backup kb/mouse set to my Logitech Cordless Desktop. (My Logitech has died on 2 seperate occasions but each time Logitech replaced it under waranty with no hassles whatsoever. I bought the Labtec just in case I should ever need it) So far the Labtec set has sat there idle. I tried it out when I first bought it just to make sure it works. The keys are mushy and don't have that nice positive bounce I like. The RF unit works well as does the mouse. Overall the unit feels relatively cheap but is very usable. The rebate I got when I bought it came from Logitech so I assume Labtec is their low-end product line (of sorts).

Just got mine.... works pretty welll I have it under my coffee table for my windows media center PC in the living room. Range is about 4 feet ... just fine for me....

I was a bit shocked both the mouse and keyboard run on 2 AAA's ... luckily I have Ni-mh's

The mouse is ball, but serviceable. All in all I am pretty pleased.

You know what's kinda funny... I have been mulling back and forth with the Logitech I just got .... (MX duo Deal from OD) And I am really disappointed with the Logitech for two reasons.....

1. The MX700 Mouse is huge and humpbacked.... My wrist is aching after 15 mins
2. The MX700 Mouse has this annoying pull to the left.... I am not what is causing it...

Conclusion ~~~ I might return the Logitech and just buy a solid small optical mouse for gaming and keep this set for day to day browsing.
