LABOR Day, an American holiday

A holiday, eh? And yet I don't understand what's so great about all the Labor.

Labor day exactly. The day I set out on my next construction project, a 24x27 horse barn. Spent too many hours over the weekend getting my supply lists together and 3 runs with the trailer today bringing materials home. Who knew 16 foot 4x6 treated posts were so darn heavy? Whew! Time to fire up the grill and have a few brats, oh and a few spotted cow.

Whew boy!!! I made the mistake of building a deck in January, the 2x6 x12ft were SOAKED, and those were more than heavy enough. Hope you've got some help.

Yesterday, I had an urge to get all my uncompleted projects done.

Fortunately, I was able to nap for a few hours and wait for the urge to go away!
