Looks like I need to buy a new driver side front door for my 98 Honda Accord sedan:(

If anyone of Accord owners here in LA area has no need of their front door (for whatever reason) please contact me :(

Or I will probably have to shell out some money at the dealership.

don't buy a door for a '98 from a dealer, find a bone yard and get a used one

my wife got hit in our '90 mazda, i bought two new front seats for $75 and a rear bumper for $125 , looked as good as it did before getting hit

I am still trying to troubleshoot what the problem is. The wind noise is too loud..and I think it has to do with the driver side front door not being able to block out outside noise. If anyone can let me borrow their door for a few hour, I might be able to tell exactly what is wrong.

Screw around with the weather seal. Put a film of vasoline on the seal and close the door. See if there are areas where the vasoline didn't get on the door jam. You may be able to adjust the door, or shim out the rubber, so that it seals better.

you obviously know nothing about cars. it's probably the weatherstripping.
who the hell would be dumb enough to lend an amatuer like you their door?
you need to stick to things you know well like molesting first cousins...

WTF are you talking about?
Of course I changed the weatherstrip and everything, nothing worked! That's why I start doubting it's the metal frame of the door that's the problem.

Metal doesn't cause wind noise unless it is bent or there is a big ass hole in it. Replacing a $500- $1k door because you hear wind is not ony excessive, it is stupid. But I guess someone has to keep dealers in buisness.

Yes, try the junk yards and parts depots. They are your best bets. The dealer really likes to bend you over and uh you get the idea.
