People who drive through to Vegas know the hellhole this place is. It's normally 100+ degrees during the s ummer. Couple that with a blanket of smoke coming from the Yucaipa fire going on right now and it literally feels like I would imagine a Martian afternoon would be. Obscenely hot, nothing but dirt and tumbleweeds, the smell of burning timber, a thick ashy sky and a trickle of ash down from above. Disgusting. Shoot. Me. Now.

Just wanted to add that Mars is actually colder than earth because it is farther away from the sun.
