LA Dodgers Eric Gagne might have pitch his last game... :(

im sad for him, but Im happy because the team right behind me in second place just traded for him....oh well.

Brazoban could have the stuff to be a great closer. Gagne is probably done as a Dodger in any case. This is his walk year right?? If thats the case and Brazoban pitches well all season then Gagne is as good as gone in LA.

I see 15 day DL, you see career ending... 😕

If he has to get Tommy John surgery, he'll never be the same closer.

He's had it before, doesn't look like it affected him too much 😉

So having surgery twice for the same kind of injury isn't disconcerting to you?

Ha ha, sucks to be him. Now he has to go back to living in a cardboard box and eating out of a garbage can. Oh wait, he made $10mill this year.

You obviously have never played baseball before, certainly any surgery isn't good news (especially having it twice) but players who have Tommy John surgery often come back as good as new.

It's not like a torn ACL for a RB which basically means that the guy will never run the same way again.

i think he'll come back strong as ever. in fact, he'll be back in time for the all-star break.

< still in denial since he has gagne on his fantasy baseball team and brazoban has already been picked up, as has ever other closer in the league

Will someone please explain wtf a Tommy John surgery even is?

They take a muscle from your wrist and replace the damaged muscle in your elbow. The process is extremely tricky and very painful.

I think it is actually a ligament thats being taken and replaced. I may be wrong though.
