l4d1 or l4d2 = 6.49
combo pack = 10.19

4 packs available for both games also.

Just picked this up to play with some friends. Been on a coop gaming kick as of late.

edit: switch your steam cloud setting to dl from denmark. dls are even faster than the s. korean servers.

Going to pick this up. Waiting pays off, since original price was what, $45 each? So I am paying $10 instead of $90.

The Left 4 Dead bundle is going for £7.81 here in the UK, might pick it up just for a second account.

Wow, started downloading L4D2 but it is 11GB. That doesn't even include L4D1. I have all Source games, so I thought the download size would be reduced.

Now I can't download it until I'm visiting my parents who have a huge bandwidth cap. Way go to Valve, what a stupid company. That's bigger than SC2 or WoW.

Weird... L4D2 is only 7.4 GB according to my steam, and I have no source games.

Thanks M0oG0oGaiPan, I just bought the bundle, was thinking about getting L4D2 at $19.99, but saw this and and just got both!

The update is 3.5GB, so if you're going to do a fresh download of L4D2 it'll be around 11GB.

I just don't understand how it's possible for a game download to be so big. Does Valve not use compression? I hate how they act like bandwidth is infinite, what with every Source game having a 100MB update every few days. They really need to get their shit together, there is no way this game has anywhere near the amount of content as SC2 or WoW yet it is way bigger.

Living under a 50GB cap (with overage charges) with Bell is annoying. The alternative is Rogers with just as shitty caps but even worse business practices.

Damn, that sucks man. Glad I don't have any caps.

Basically for all people who thought L4D2 was nothing more than overpriced DLC, here you go, all 8 original campaigns plus 3 extra for 10 bucks, how can you get any better than that???

I have the first game and never play it, but for $6.49, if I get even 2 hours of fun out of part 2 I'll be happy; heck, that's cheaper than a movie. :awe:

I would recommend a switch to Teksavvy cable. I live in Toronto and for $60 a month taxes in, get a 10MB/1MB connection with unlimited bandwidth.

They're going to be upgrading us to 15MB/1MB for no additional cost soon as well, once they've completed upgrading their backends.

Screw Robbers/Bell, I avoid them both as much as possible, apart from digital cable tv, where the only option is Rogers.

just when i was about to delete the steam folders to save some hd space last night, but decided to fire up l4d one more time. lo and behold! saw people playing dead at dawn mod final ...and today the dlc release along w/ l4d2 on sale....thanks valve!

now when is l4d3 is coming?!

Always nice to know how to get around all the issues so you can get it before anyone else!

did you all notice that L4D2 and L4D2 add-on support seem to be downloading the same 3.5gb update? i'm pausing one of them and let it apply to both of them. (of course this only applies to people who have installed the add-on support pkg)
