im a linux newbie and im downloading redhat v9 right now but i want it to look like this pic...

is redhat v9 the wrong choice for me can you make redhat look like that link?

I see something that says KDE 3.1 is that a distributor or skin or something?

what do i need to do to make it look like that pic which distributor, skin, or any other info?

Yes, you can make it look like that.....

Good luck though, you obviously have never used linux and it's a steep learning curve if you want to do anything useful.

ttt does anyone know if redhat v9 comes with KDE 3.1 i cant find out if it does on the redhat website. im burning the cds right now 😀
 
Switching operating systems because you think the other one is prettier is not something I'd consider a good idea.
 

thats not the only reason my friend has it and its much more stable than windows from what ive seen and i also want to stop using microsoft cause i hate blood sucking capitalists like most of you guys probably are.

i would say so i use suse 9 (Newest distro) which uses kde 3.1. That isnt a preinstalled KDE skin, you will have to find if off a skin site.

Same here. Whenever I use Linux it is pure CL. None of the Linux servers I have set up (including mine) had any form of a GUI.
