Kyro 2D Performance

I've had my Kyro (Hercules)for a couple of days now. The thing is plenty fast, but Windows (ME) fonts are very pixelated. I've tried both the Hercules and PowerVR drivers....PowerVR are a little faster.

Any suggestions about improving 2D?

Did you load the proper monitor *.inf files and adjust your refresh rate after laoding the drivers?

Did your previous video card have the same problems? If might be the monitor.

My previous card was a GeForce II MX and I never had this problem. The monitor's OK, with refresh set to 120Hz.

When I boost the Kyro to 32 bit, the fonts in Windows become almost unreadable, so I keep it 16 bit.

Otherwise, everything else is fine. I'm running a 19 inch Sampo monitor .27 dot pitch.

Any other ideas? Thanks for your responses!

I don't know if it related, but did the Nvidia driver still installed?
