it is a bad deal. If you want reduction in CO2 the environuts need to start promoting nuclear power, rather than demonize it.
... and a new, dark chapter of human history begins. Luckily, the world is banding together to fight back against EU colonialism. You might as well add Italy to the list since they've decided to join the rest of the world in opposing EU bullying attempts in furthering Kyoto beyond 2012.
Why is most of the world (US, Australia, Italy, China, India, etc.) now opposed to extensions on Kyoto?

Ask them. Are you sure India and China are on that list? US and Australia have been opposed to Kyoto, seems logical they'd be opposed to any extensions.
No one has yet shown how Kyoto is a conspiracy against the US. Canada, Europe, Japan, and some 130ish other Nations will be doing their part(s) to abide by Kyoto. Since they are abiding by it, isn't Kyoto a conspiracy against them?

I guess we all need to ask.And yes, India and China are on that list, along with US, Australia, etc. Even Italy is against it now. In fact, most of the world is against further talks on Kyoto. Basically only the EU is pushing it now, and they got completely rejected for it.
I don't think it's as much of a conspiracy against only the US as it is against the developing nations or rest of the world.
I wonder if most of the people that push for Kyoto even know that it's not even expected to do much and is massively flawed and potentially harmful. It's something that seems good when you first read it on paper, but when you read the details and studies, it's pointless.

It doesn't fix the problem, but it's far from pointless. It's been known from the start that it's only a step in the right direction. More agreements are to come, if the problem is to be fixed. The EU is right in pursuing the next round, but with the US dragging its' feet(even though it hasn't signed on to Kyoto, many States are reducing or trying to reduce their Greenhouse Gas emmissions) the burden on those who have implemented Kyoto is already great and is putting them at a disadvantage. So it only makes sense that those who have been willing to do what's right are rather cautious about doing even more when their costs of meeting the Kyoto targets are not even fully realized yet.

Actually, I believe the opposite. I think it's avoiding the real problem by having a fake solution that doesn't do anything. Sometimes I think it's just a scheme supported by various governments to make their citizens complacent.
I think that there are multiple solutions to the problem, but the fake solution brought by Kyoto is not one of them. The basic concept is fine, but with all of the details considered, it shouldn't be taken seriously.
Aren't India and China prevented from reductions in the current Kyoto? Yet they're opposed to talks when their status expires. How many other countries are just in Kyoto for the money? Russia certainly is.
Doesn't necessarily sound like he's pushing Kyoto. Seems that he wants to work more with other nations to have a better plan.
Technically there's more than just the EU in the 'rogue' nation category pushing for the plan, but the EU is the main party. It's pretty similar to the Iraq war group with the US being the main party, but other players in the field as well.

Why would there be preventions for China/India to Reduce emmissions? I think you heard something wrong. Last I heard China was actually working on reducing pollution(can't remember if it was Greenhouse Gas related) quite agressively. It is true that China/India were given an exception from Kyoto, but I highly doubt they are prevented from doing what they can to reduce Greenhouse Gas emmissions.
It would be counter productive for US to limit the use of the resource which they are currently spending hundreds of billions of dollars to secure.
