I'm looking for a KVM switch. I was wondering if any of you know of any sites that review KVMs. I need one that has absolutly no ghosting at 1024x768 in 16-Bit color. Do any of you know of any sites where I can find some reviews or have any reccomendations? Thanks.
I have a 4-port Belkin at work and would not recomend it due to ghosting and it not being compatible with intellimice(they say it is but mine goes nuts) I would look into Cybex KVM's my friend uses them on his servers and has not had any problems.
I dont see the model I have at work on belkin's site now maybe they replaced it with one that works. After reading the reviews links of their products you might want to give the omniview a try but purchase it from a store that will let you return it.
We have 3 4-port omnicubes at work, they all seem to work fine with our equipment. Pretty cheap too at $129.99 just about anywhere. They ship high quality cables with their switch too(just 1 set though, the extras will cost you about $6 a set)
Cybex Switchview four port, very smooth and cables (universal) are cheap compared to other brands (cables can be a large part of the price with four or more because you are going to want to get long ones). They list a resolution limit on it but I haven't noticed.
