OK, I think I am about to give up on what I wish they made.

Problem: I am going to build a new machine with a nVidia Quadro 4000 and the primary support for dual monitors is DisplayPort. I also use that desk for work from home and run dual monitors off of my docking station as DVI+VGA. At this point, the monitor solution looks like using the source switch on the monitors and switch between VGA/DisplayPort and DVI/DisplayPort (Dell Ultra series). At work, I use a Cybex AutoView Commander (no DP here) and PS/2 ports, but I can use USB KM at home.

Am I missing something? I may get a 3-way+ dual monitor KVM and maybe hookup my current desktop too and use it DVI+VGA. That would have 2 video solutions with 3 keyboard/mouse solutions through the box.

Am I missing something? Anything to avoid that might freakout if there is no video on one of the selections (the DP box)?
