KVM doesnt want to work with Linux :|

GoingUp

Lifer
Here is the KVM that I have

There are PS2 ports on the front, and the only ports coming off the back are Monitor and USB. There are also 2 usb input ports on the back. When the mouse and keyboards are connected to the PS2 ports in the front, linux recognizes nothing. When I connect my mouse through one of the USB ports in the back, then the mouse works, but no keyboard still. I dont have a straight USB keyboard, and I don't have the money for a new one. I can't figure out what to do... I tried recompiling the kernel with no success, usb is enabled in the bios, the KVM switch works just fine when I boot into windows. Linux says that Keyboard and Mouse USB support are started when its loading, but I can't do anything with the keyboard when I get into Linux... I am trying to run redhat 9........

The guy in the article below is having the same problems that I am having.
