Hello all,

I just bought a logitech mx duo to replace the first generation logitech cordless mouse and keyboard I have had for 5+ years. When I plug the MX Duo into my KVM, I lose the mouse everytime I switch to a new computer. The only way to get it back is to reboot. This defeats the purpose of a KVM.

Does anyone here use the MX Duo with a KVM? If so, please give me the make and model of your KVM so I can get it as well. Thanks a lot.

I'm also looking for one.

There are mixed reviews about the IOGear one and Logitech products so I'd stay away from them.

However, upon a little research found this:

http://secure.newegg.com/app/C...=0&item=17-107-246

Read their customer reviews, you'll notice that they say that the Logitechs work fine on them except you have to reset the KVM (ScrollLock-ScrollLock-End) or something to get all the functions to work.

Alphaz,

Thanks to your response, I tried a TRENDNET KVM and it has worked so far.

For those who care (which doesn't seem to be too many people) TRENDnet seemed to have KVMs that worked (from some reports that I read) so I took the leap and bought a TX-801R. Right now I have 3 computers hooked up and I am switching between them at will. I have yet to lose the mouse.

I have not installed the software for the special key functions as this is not important to me. All I wanted was for the mouse/keyboard to work.
