KV8 Pro boot problems.

So here's the thing.

I have an OCed A64 2800+ @ 2.2Ghz on an ABIT KV8 Pro.

Everything works 100% stable. I can leave my computer on for 14 days without rebooting without any problems at all.

However, when I reboot windows, or turn it off to then turn it on again, I have a hard time making it boot. Sometimes, I have to turn off the Power Supply, and turn it on again to make it work.

This happens quite oftenly, and I am wondering if its due to the Power Supply or the overclock. Motherboard is flashed with the latest BIOS.

I am geting exasperated and don't want to buy another motherboard just to solve the problem. Have any of you had similar problems?

Any help is appreciated.

Gee, people. Thanks!!

Maybe I should've asked for buying advices! Maybe then I would have gotten a reply.

Lots of good buyers here... very, very few techies.

That is the same problem I had with my old KV8 Pro. Once it was running, I loved it, good OCer and noer a problem, until I shut down or tried rebooting. It turned out to be my Antec 430w TruePower. I replaced it with a Thermaltake 480w PurePower and the problem went away. Try a different PSU, if that doesn't help, give us more info on your system components so we can help narrow down the problem.
