I think he was at least assisted in killing himself unintentionally. I went to see an indie movie documentary on the whole matter a few years back. There were so many shady characters involved with Courtney Love at the time, and the facts just don't add up to suicide. We'll never know will we.

this is kinda off topic, but has anyone heard the new STP song &quot;Too Cool Queenie&quot;? I'm almost positive it's about Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain. Weiland sings about a guy who played in a &quot;rock-n-roll band&quot; and a girl singer that lives still. He goes on to say that &quot;she said he could do no right, so he took his life, his story is true&quot;, and &quot;she got real famous, and she made lots of money, and some of his too.&quot; hmm...

Some fact corrections:

1. Courtney was dating Corgan BEFORE she took off with Cobain. (That's why I called her &quot;The Hillary Clinton of Rock &amp; Roll&quot;. Think about it...) Corgan is credited with co-writing &quot;Celebrity Skin&quot; but it sounds like he wrote 95% of it to me. (She prolly picked the title.)

2. Weiland is supposed to have gone out with her recently. (Maybe they shot up together.)

3. Elvis IS dead!!! Do you seriously believe he would've just hid out at that Burger King in Grand Rapids while his daughter married Michael Freakin' Jackson?!?!?!?:Q

I actually heard stp talk about one of their songs on howard stern's radio show after someone called in and asked if it was about Courtney Love (I thought he was talking about Hollywood Bitch but maybe you're right......) anyway......they said it wasn't about anyone, just people in general or something, I dunno.....ask them

anyway, both of those songs are tight.......infact, their new album kicks ass, though at first I wasn't sure but now I can say I like more than 1/2 the songs, maybe more as I listen to 'em
