Man, I'm not that big of a fan of Dreamworks' animated movies, but this movie was AWESOME! I love Jack Black! His opening sequence made me LOL so hard(AWESOME art direction in that opening sequence!!! and the movie's music was kick ass).
I loved this movie so much that I watched it a 2nd time. Casting of Jack Black was utter genius. Man, I want a Shifu stuffed animal now too. The Last fight scene where he used the bamboo sticks to hide the scroll had me LOL'ing so hard, that I HAD to see this movie a 2nd time to watch the movie in its entirety, but failed because I still LOL'd.

I really like Jack Black in general, and if you enjoy Jack Black's movies, then you'll enjoy this movie a ton.

Two thumbs up from the wife and me. No slow moments. Excellent graphics (got to see it at a digital theater in NH).

Not as good as the best Pixar films and just a notch below Shrek on the Dreamworks front. However, I will buy this film on Blu-ray.

Saw it with the family. I had tears coming out of my eyes. My dad said I was laughing louder than my 4 year old...
 
hate to revive an old thread, but this movie is pure awesomeness and deserves it. i wasn't expecting much from it, but it totally blew me away. amazing visuals, hilarious, and a good story behind it. i think i enjoyed it more than the kids. rented it on blu-ray today and was blown away by the audio and visuals. definitely gonna buy this one

Weird.. I just got the DVD and finished watching it a hour ago. Saw it in the theater originally, it's a good movie. Not what I expected.
 
Absolutely terrific movie. I saw it this past summer with my GF and we both thought it was awesome. Same for Wall-E. We thought that both movies were terrific.
 
i bought it on blu ray this week. didn't see it in theatres, regretting that now. what a fantastic movie! jack black was hilarious

Picked up the 2 disc this week. Great movie.
The Furious Five 2nd disc isn't bad. Its not a real sequel, but the kids will enjoy it.
