Is it any good. The trailer and reviews make it seem like Prince of Persia SOT with a slightly deeper fighting system.

I wouldn't go that far. My kid seemed to like it pretty well....which is the barometer I use when judging games of this nature.

I never bothered downloading the demo... seemed like a kiddie game that I wouldn't enjoy.

Don't you have access to the demo? Why not try it yourself? Or is your internet connection bad?

You could always rent it.

a friend downloaded the demo and gave a tentative thumbs up. But she doesn't have a huge gaming repitoire to reference. I remember Shrek super slam being pretty good so i tend to give dreamworks animated tie-ins a little more leeway.

I downloaded it cos I saw the trailer for the film a few days ago and I'm a sucker for pandas 😛

I bashed the crap out of the X+Y buttons making random combos and there are also mini Sonic bits where you roll around the level collecting stuff. It looked nice and seemed like fun for the little ones.

Edit: just noticed the POP reference. Nah, it's nothing like that, LOL.

I downloaded it before I realized it was a movie. I was like "wtf panda?" Anyway it was okay. Not very POP like MmmSkyscraper said. I wouldn't buy it, and probably not even play the demo again. I guess it depends on how much you like platformers and that sort of thing.
