Kudos to Biostar for handling a rebate issue well

Purchased a Biostar mobo & Intel i3 cpu combo from Fry's back in May when they were still offering their great combos. 16 weeks after mailing in the rebate, no payment from MyRebates411.com. Two polite & succinct emails & a week later, no word from MyRebates411.com. Three polite & succinct emails back & forth with Biostar's rebate division, & 10 days later, my rebate check arrives in the mail.

It is a hassle contacting the manufacturer & I hope Biostar recognizes one of their rebate processors is less than totally honest, but Biostar did right by me.

tl;dr:
1. MyRebates411.com is a shady rebate processor.
2. Biostar stands by their rebates & is not at all difficult to work with.

Do you remember the emails for Biostar's rebate division? I've looked and can't find one.

I beg to differ on Biostar rebates. My motherboard rebate was filed on Aug 9th, 17 weeks later still no rebate. On the Biostar rebate page my transaction is marked as "Approved, payment pending". Its been like that for ages.
 
reminds me... think i had a rebate for my biostar board. clearly never received it. looks like i'm the reason they exist.
 
Well, if you filed it with Biostar you should be able to check the status, you need email and password
