HI all!

I have a KT7E Mb and I bought a cheapo case for it, this will be my first MOD so I didnt wanna go all out and burn my wallet. I need a wiring diagram from the Case tot he MB for Power buttons, reset button, HD ect.. ect..

Anyone here have a site that gives a great pictoral or even a PDF file?

Please help a n00b out!

Thank you in advance,

Joe

Okay you have the Abit KT7e? Are you sure you don't mean KT7A?

Now your question:

You want to know what headers to attach your HD light cable and your power button cable etc. to?
If this is your question then it's easy... look on the bottom right part of the motherboard for the headers...they are labeled there..I have the KT7A and they are clearly marked (pwr, HD, reset, etc.)

Good luck

I found a pretty good pic of the KT7A here

The RAID board is identical to the non-RAID with respect to the location of the headers (In the above pic the headers are located in the BOTTOM LEFT corner)

ABit manual should also show you a pix of the hedder and it will show you where to plug in the wires.
(you can d/l it from Abit if you don't have a copy handy

note: switches have no polarity so you don't have to worry about + and -
the LEDs do have polarity. If you get the + and - reversed, it won't break anything, but the light will not come on.

In case you are still looking
PN1
Pin 1,2,3 = power led (+ on 1)
Pin 6,7 IDE LED (+on 6)
8,9 PW SW
10, 11 SMI

PN2

4,5,6,7 - SPK (+ on 4)
