KT7A Raid / Duron 850 - having problems..

I picked up a Kt7a Raid last night and slapped in my hardware and processor.
When I powered the machine up it didn't boot. After about 5-6 seconds it shut itself down?
Why?
How can I tell if the processor is fried? I highly doubt that possiblity though.

Nevermind... in my hast I connected the CPU to FAN2 instead of FAN1..

crack is bad
 
Be sure that you have a CPU fan connected to Fan1 header (the further one of the two from the processor) If you dont, the system will shut down immediately.
