kt7a-raid bios upgrade

I just upgraded the bios of my KT7A-Raid to the latest version (7N) and the system will boot fine and run fine until I make any changes in the bios. For example disabling the serial ports or changing the boot sequence or any other minor thing. Once I make the changes and hit F10 to save and exit the system will not post until I power down and clear the bios.

CPU - XP 1800
256MB sdram
SB Live
ATI Radeon 64MB
Linksys 10/100 Netcard
IBM 40GB HD
TDK 10/16/40 CD-RW

Any thoughts would be helpful-
