I just got my KT7a yesterday and now I'm running at 8.5X136 without any problems, so I'll probably continue raising the multiplier and the FSB. I have a few questions. First of, on the KT7a mobo, what is the FSB Plus for? Because there already is an FSB control. Also, when I was putting the Arctic Silver on I got some on the outside of the core, and I cleaned up most of it, but there still might be some residue left around some parts of the chip. Is this dangerous.

It is not a good idea to leave Arctic silver smeared on or around the L bridges or the components near the core. Arctic silver CAN be conductive. BAD things may happen. Wipe it of thoroughly with some alcohol and some paper. EASY.
The Fsb+ settings are for finetuning the FSB in steps of 1 Mhz.
8X140 is the sweet spot for my Duron. Anything above 140 Kills UDMA due too to high PCI for my 15 gig IBM and that is not nice.
