Weird little thing happening..... I notice that my USB printer (HP P1000) which is connected directly into the USB port on the back routinely loses communication and cant be used without a reboot.....any ideas or settings I might wanna try. I believe I have the latest VIA USB filters installed....... would the latest 4in1 final help.?? I still have the 4.28beta.....

I haven't experienced any printer problems on USB but on my main system, using an Asus CUSL2-C board, I used to sometimes not have my USB mouse power up at start up and had to unplug/replug, sometimes 2 or 3 times, to get it working. Also, have an Intel web cam plugged in to the USB port through a USB hub built into my ADI monitor. At fairly frequent intervals, happened about 4 times today over the course of 3 hours, the cam quits working. Requires doing the unplug/plug routine to get it working. Using Win2K and am not sure if it is a hardware problem related to the motherboard, OS problem, combination of both or what. Not a big problem but a bit frustrating. Just flashed a new BIOS into the board last night and the not starting up the mouse problem seems maybe to have gone away. Only time will tell.

ALOT of little quirks about this KT7A setup that I never had with my BE6 and P3.....

I read somewhere that you can make the printer wait to start printing only after it has finished spooling the print job to the printer. This solved the problem of crashing half way through printing a photo for some user.

Sounds like a simple solution. Maybe too simple.
