I'm trying to setup a spare computer using an old motherboard I have (KT7-RAID) and I know the motherboard has problems, but this particular problem I really need to get resolved...
The problem is that when I hookup a keyboard using the PS/2 port, it works *fine* in BIOS, and it even lets me press 'F8' before Windows boots, etc, but once Windows (XP) boots, the keyboard no longer works what-so-ever. I've tried several keyboards so I know this isn't limited to one particular keyboard. Another strange thing is that I can use a boot disk (Win98) and the keyboard works fine, but if I launch the WinXP setup the keyboard will lock up.
I've updated the BIOS to the very latest version but that didn't help at all...
I'm very desperate to fix this problem... if anybody has any ideas for me please let me know.
