KT7 - raid chip upgrade

I have a KT7 board and I just upgraded from an AMD 650 to a AMD 1 gig chip and I can't get it to run faster than 750 mghz. I have tried flashing the bios and also setting the speed manually - is there anything else I can try?
 
It sounds like your 1GHz chip is a 133FSB cpu. You could try unlocking the L1's and up the clock to 10x and run the FSB @ 100MHz.
