I recently upgraded my system to XP from 98. I found much to my dismay that the driver for my hauppauge wintv usb was just terrible and caused several problems. I sold it to someone at work who has no problems with it and loves it and I bought a wintv go from his friend. I put the card in and it seems to work well with the exception I now have random lock ups when checking the hardware and the system will not completely shutdown anymore. My usb devices aren't always found correctly and I'm getting annoyed. I also noticed when I first log on that my opening sound can be a little choppy. I repaired XP last night and that did not improve things (didn't make it worse either) and it was a fresh install on a new hard drive. I think I discovered the problem this morning on the ride into work and I believe it is a hardware interupt conflict. I had installed the wintv card into slot 4 (which according to the manual, shares at interupt with the usb.) Now given the cards that I have for this system, what would be the best order for these cards?
