KT400 vs KT333

Is it worth it to upgrade to a KT400 from a KT333?
I have a Shuttle AK35GT2 motherboard now, it's KT333 but with USB 1.1.
I bought an MSI KT4 Ultra (no options) that I intended to replace the AK35GT2 with.
Now I'm having second thoughts, because the MSI board is more cheaply constructed. Capacitors are few and small, 1500uF and only 2 pair of MOSFETs. The Shuttle board has numerous 3300uF capacitors and 3 pair of MOSFETs. The Shuttle is a marvel of stability and all components are centered and neatly soldered, not sloppy like the MSI board.
Not to mention I will need to get ahold of an I/O shield to fit the MSI, but the Shuttle fits perfectly. The Shuttle also mounts very well because it is big enough to reach the screw standoffs at every corner. The MSI is a little short, so its front will just kind of over, so I'd need to be very careful inserting disk drive cables. Overall, my main concern is just quality... the Shuttle quality is worlds above the MSI.

I have no plans to change my PC2100. I also have no plans to use AGP8X, my current video card is fine.
Would this be a worthwhile upgrade, speed-wise or features-wise?

No.

Wait at LEAST for the KT400a or get a nForce2.

But with a KT333 you might be able to wait for the Athlon64

Thanks. That's pretty much what I thought.
For the difference in quality, I think I'll stick to the Shuttle and Ebay the MSI.

I use to have the KT266a version of your Shuttle. And you are right, very good board, esp. for the price.
