KT266A or SiS735?

One short question: Is it worth waiting for KT266A or should I get SiS735 based MB. I?m not planning to overclock and stability is of great importance. What is expected cost of KT266A based MB?

my epox 8k7a has been rock solid since i got it like 4 months ago. the sis735 seems like a good value. stabilty, i am not sure. the kt266 has been getting good reviews, but its not out yet. i would recommend the epox, just because i have it 😛

I would wait and at least see how the KT266A boards shape up, otherwise you may just kick yourself for going with the Sis735.

If you want top stability I would go with a second generation AMD 761 mobo.

Epox 8k7a (great stable board)

Gigabyte GA7D-XR (faster and more stable board with raid)

I'd go with the ECS SiS735 board because it's very reliable & cheap. If you see the KT266a performing really well when it comes out you can always go for it since the ECS board didn't cost you much. 😉

There are actually three boards that have been released although they can't be bought anywhere yet.

MSI K7T266Pro2 - has onboard RAID
Gigabyte 7VTXH
Gigabyte 7VTX-P
