KT266a boards not FSBing very good?

I've been patiently waiting on the sidelines to upgrade my lowly 800 TB and A7V, but I want a board that FSBs high. From whatever reviews that have come out, they can only get the Kt266a boards up to around 145 FSB. Is this because the XPs crap out early compared to the ole 1.4 AHYJA chips?

Would I be right in assuming a non-XP chip on the 8K7A+ boards (or maybe even a KK266-R board) at >155-160 FSB would outperform the KT266a boards and their better memory bandwidth, but at lower FSBs?

Anybody getting real high FSBs on an XP? What board are you using?

It's rumored that Epox is going to release a bios with 1/5 PCI and 2/5 AGP dividers so you can run at 166mhz fsb. It's just a rumor, however.

i hate to say go to another website (because i love where im at)...lol......but go to amdmb.com.......they have alot on the epox 8kha+.....fsb up to 170 and more....alot of people there reporting sucsess.....check it out
