Good deal since gas stations these days charge $0.75 to use their air compressor (if you can find one that's operational).

I remember some months ago when this deal went OOS and everybody cried who waited to do the deal 😀😀😀

Thanks ActiveX

From a reviewer on the site:
I plugged this in to pump up a tire in my car, and it started sparking and there was a small fire inside the enclosure. DO NOT BUY IT, THE PARTS ARE CHEAP!!! It is not worth the risk of injury and if its just gonna melt and break like mine did, you better spend your 20dollars somewhere else. SAVE FOR A BETTER ONE, NOT ONE THAT WILL SPARK EVERYWHERE,CATCHFIRE,AND MELT!

Hmmm... I just picked one up from the store. no ac adapter may warrant a return, though since I want to use it in the house also.

Yeah, that's what I was thinkin. This would be so much more useful if it could be run off a wall outlet. My car only gets power to the 12v if it's actually running, it's old.

Has anyone else that's bought one experienced this or anything similar?
I looked at one while in the store yesterday & had my doubts as to whether it would inflate a flat car tire. Air mattress, maybe...flat tire, I dunno.

You can pick up 12v -> 120v adapt in store if you really want to use it around the house.

Warning on using a 12v-120v adapter, most do not have the surge wattage for the start of a pump. At best it just wont start up, at worst it will short your adapter.

Umm... Before you jump on this, you may want to read the one user review:

These will inflate automobile tires.

It just takes a long long long long long long time.

Would that be a really long time? or ? possibly less than a day?
It's why I have AAA. They usually handle things in about a couple of hours.

Besides, who carries patches for more than their bicycle tires these days?
I like the idea that it can pump my 115lb. bike tire for me. Especially since I carry my Sears Dir-Hard around in order to power the thing when away from the support vehicle...
😀😀😀
(Did you feel the pull of the chain?) 😀😀😀

What you said is true but probably not within the boundaries of what the product design is about.

Long time!
