I do like some of her stuff. But she just needs to settle down with the excessive characters. her more subtle stuff is really good, imo. But she rarely does it.

To be fair, I only started watching SNL again last fall, so i hadn't seen much of it.

I like a lot of Fred Armisan's and Will Forte's characters. Armisan's "hipster does the current events" character (not sure what it's called) on Weekend Update is freaking hilarious. Where he tries to make his own comedy bits based on newspaper articles, but he gets lost in his own circumlocutions and never reaches a payoff with any of his jokes.

Babe thread? I don't think she's really worthy of that, but she is definitely funny, and talented. One of the best on the show right now. I think SNL actually has a few really good cast members at the moment, her, and sandberg, will forte, but I thought Seth Meyers didn't act anymore, only write?
