I tried the vanilla iced blend, and it tasted like liquid windex mixed with bleach. But the doughnut ones might be good :D

The no carb/low carb diet is overblown in the number of people who have actually ever been on it, or stayed on it, Krispy Kreme is trying to use it as an out for extremely bad buisness decisions.

For reference, an 11 oz Dannon yogurt "smoothie" that is of the non-lowfat variety is close to 300 calories.

A 20oz drink of this at 700 calories isn't really that far out of line. Hell, a large chocolate shake from most fast food places is close to 850 calories.

Yep.. most people have no idea that the latte they suck down every day is a good 500 calories.

Hmmm I guess it depends on what a place calls a large shake. Some places large shakes are in their medium drink cups while others are in their regular large cups.

Jack in the Box large shakes are in the 1300-1400 cal range, with their medium in the 900-1000. Their small which is ~10-11oz is 570-670.

You gotta wonder what Jack in the Box puts in their shakes though, compared to McDonalds, their shakes have 200 cal more for each size.

Btw, when I really want a frozen drink, I usually get the Espresso Frappucino Light from Starbucks. Its only 180 calories for 24oz (venti).
