One of these...these glorious, wonderful restaruants, nay, HAVENS has just opened near me.

DROOL.....these are SO GOOD!!!!So much better than Dunkin Doughnuts.

My thoughts while eating a Krispy Kreme:

Okay, I've never had any Krispy Kreme doughnuts (I don't like doughnuts all that much), but who the heck came up with the name? Sounds nasty to me...like this supermarket near me called "Cookie Crock Warehouse"...gross

krispy kreme and dunkin donuts shouldn't even be spoken in the same breath.

they are extremely different. i loved krispy kreme back when i lived down SOUTH.

last i heard they 150 cal each(regular). so i guess you could get away with eating one at breakfast :) course thats not satisfying at all.

Krispy Kreme are pretty good, but I prefer Shipley's. :)

edit: There is a difference. Krispy Kreme and Shipley's are sugar coated bits of heaven. :D

If you don't eat at least 4 you're crazy!!! These things rock...

They must put drugs in them or something... Talk about not being able to eat just one... :)

Probably not :) I just ate, and just thinking about doughnuts and their fatty saturated goodness makes me wanna yuke ;)

my prob with crispy creme is that i only like their regular/filled ones, the rest just aren't good matches with the super soft doughnuts.

yes thats the prob, 4 = 600+cal I like some normal doughtnuts like bear claws, apple fritters and old fashioned doughnuts, only need to eat 1:)

My roommate and I went to one in Houston to check them out. I ordered 2 dozen, and he ordered 2 dozen. We each finished a box. :)

Krispy Kreme has really good donuts (and I live a few blocks away from one) but still, they're just donuts...people where I'm from talk about them like they're made of gold...

I've totally had both kinds and about a dozen either. I honestly can say I can tell any difference. Perhaps I have a knack for food as you apparently do.
