Kraken AM4 Mounting

Has anyone mounted this?

To not sound like a nimrod, I went through the manual but the new mounting pegs don't appear to screw in much. I haven't tested yet as I am away from home but my bracket came as I was leaving and the difference makes me wonder. In the pic the peg outside the bag is the new one.

The old ones were just absolute shit for me.

The new ones fit like a glove. Totally snug, block doesn't move at all!

So the nub of thread is all I need to secure to the board? Just wanting to make sure.

Yes, using the AM4 backplate that came with my X370 the "cap" over the nub of thread went over the top of the backplate risers, and it screwed in surprisingly far.

That makes sense. Because the backplate it poking through the motherboard.
