Krait Benchmark Leaked

I apologize if this is already on here, but I've been waiting on some Krait info quite impatiently.
http://www.gsmarena.com/upcoming_qualcomm_msm8960_gpu_benchmark_score_surfaces-news-3733.php

In Nenamark 2 it scores 54.9 fps at 1024x600.
They compare it to Mali 400 at 800x480, which scores 46.2 fps

This seems pretty promising, over 20% higher score with a 60% heavier work load. Sure it probably won't compare to the Exynos 5250 SoC, but it'll be here really soon.

I just can't believe Qualcomn is aiming for a fall 2012 launch. The A5 will be 18 months old by that point and it won't perform any better than the 543MP2 that's on there. The Tegra 3 was also disappointing from a GPU standpoint.

Really looking more forward to the Exynos 5250. If Apple goes quad A9 in the A6 then I'll be very interested to see how a dual A15 compares. Can't wait!

I've never heard of a fall 2012 launch for krait, some of the CES reports have it shipping in China already inside the lenovo s2.

Honestly, whoever leaked this needs to be fired without reference. As far as I'm aware the first official software and firmware release has not yet come out of Qualcomm, so that means this is running pre-alpha software.

Might as well test the next camaro by dropping the engine into a half assembled frame with 3 different tire sizes.

Its good enough for the current gen competition. Put it against a 5250 and it'll get its ass kicked. OMAP5 would depend on what GPU they pair it with. Tegra3? Maybe.

GPU-wise it'll probably get beat by 5250, but keep in mind that the cpu should clock a bit higher because of 28nm. A15 is only a bit faster than Qualcomm's custom job (all speculation), so it should be just like current gen scorpions needing to hit 1.5Ghz to compete with A9 at 1.2Ghz. Also, remember that this same cpu is supposed to scale to a quad configuration, which will obliterate the 5250 cpu wise, since by Samsung's naming scheme 5250 will always be only dual core. 5450, on the other hand...
