KR7A-Raid or no Raid or NV7m

I'm looking to buy a new motherboard for an Athlon XP1800, and am unsure about which one to get. I hear the KR7A-Raid is excellent, but I am wondering if the RAID warrants the extra price (~$70 Australian or $35 US). However, I was hoping to get a motherboard with on-built LAN since and the NV7m is even cheaper still, so which one do you guys think?

Also the KR7A-Raid is good for overclocking, what extras (like fans etc) do I need to make it stable?--- like is a good fan good enuf? and what fan?
