I tried to find out on Koutec's website but it did not say.
This enclosure from dealsonic has the AT2 cypress chip and works well for me, sides are ventilated - no noisy fan (the Koutec's fan is apparently noisy).
This one is $4 cheaper at $20.99 + shipping though , different case but no fan.

this is hot, unplug the fan like the one reviewer said, noise gone, i think its great to be able to have one if its needed though, this is essentially a standard IDE to usb 2.0 enclosure at a great price with free shipping

it'll be my first product of this type, maybe my last, the price makes it worth it even if I only use it a couple times it should be fun
