Kotor more addictive than crack!

Czar

Lifer
For about 6 hours I have been playing it stright on and its 06:24 right now and I should have been doing a whole alot of christmas preparing instead. Going to sleep now and lull through christmas eve tomorrow and long for more kotor play.

Been a looooooooooooooooooooong time since I have liked a single player game this much

Czar, I fully agree with you!

I have being playing it for 2 days straight and can't stop, I go to bed wanting to play more and wake up wanting to get right at it...it's so fun.
I usually don't last 5 minutes staying interested in a single player game

I'm not a big star wars fan either, but the game is so good, and the story is so grand, that I could only wish that these people were doing the star wars films and not Lucas.

Will this game still be fun if you are not a huge Star Wars fan?

I hate starwars, bad plot, bad dialog, bad acting, bad directing, but this... is the other way around 😀 highly recomended

i'm not a big star wars fan and i couldn't stop playing it. finished it in like 3-4 days (30+ hours). now playing it again.

highly addictive! excellent story line/design/game play and the graphics is stunning. i wish they made more sci-fi RPGs like this. fantasy (the genre) just doesn't do it for me.

Only 30 hours? Pretty weak for an RPG if you ask me. I was expecting something more along the lines of Baldur's Gate or Morrowind. I hate this trend of short games.

there were some things i missed but i don't think you can go beyond 40 or even 35 hours. but there is some replaybility. playing light or dark side actually have an effect on the entire game namely the energy cost of force powers (a real story branch is very near the end). and different party members may argue or given different comments etc. also it maybe just 30 hours but it's a very solid experience.

There's well over 70-80 hours of crap to do; people who toast the game in under 30 hours do so with 1 side (i.e. dark side or light) and avoid most of side quests, and have guide help. Heh.

maybe you are right. but i dont think i'd have gotten more than 50 hours out of it if i did everything. most of the dark/light quests are really the same with different solutions. i did use tons of saves though so real play time would be a lot more than the game time. i'm playing it again this time completing everything so i'll see though.

i didn't use a guide til the last level and even then it didn't really help b/c i was looking for help against the hordes of enemies 😀

But you see, the guide would have saved you precious time from trying to figure out on your own how to beat those hordes! lol
