koreans on Bnet USWest? Why?

ok this is for Diablo2 mainly
there are 3 Bnet servers for all Blizzard games (biggest being Diablo2) which are USWest USEast and Asia

the Asia server is in Korea so why are so many Koreans in the USWest and the USEast server?
don't they know that Korea is closer to Korea and the US is?
why do Koreans insist on lagging US server with 300 ping, Korea and US are not exactly that close to each other....

even if you other them something like Bartucs for free they will not respond which means they either do not understand what you are saying, or they do understand but are complete morons

I suppose because they are super competitive, and there are more players in the US. Don't they have like pro gamers in korea?

If they don't respond to you.... it's most likely cuz they don't want to talk to you..
Who the hell cares where they play.... And as far as I know.. there are a lot of Koreans In California and there are a lot of Koreans on the East coast.. where a lot of them don't speak english~~

I used to play Rainbow Six on the Zone a lot and there were tons of Koreans back then. They would come in and start typing in their language, but of course non-Korean speakers didn't have the language symbols or whatever downloaded so we would get a bunch of gibberish in the chat screens.

Anyone ever play the game Lineage way back in its early days? There was 1 server for Koreans and non-Koreans. It was a giant language war.. korean-speakers vs. English speakers. Pretty funny 🙂
 
but why do they insist on being retarded? they KNOW that if you kill the king cow, you can't make the portal that's why when you join a cow game the first thing you ask is 'who can make?' because you know the koreans screwed almost everybody on the cow level before

I don't know wtf you talking about laggin cuz I play everyday I don't see any laggin.
it lags because the game is such a piece of crap, even GF2 + 1gh +514mb can't run smooth, nothing to do with internet.

 
quit your damn whining just because you suck at that game. If you don't like the server situation why don't you bitch at Blizzard....don't come in here and bitch and expect people to support your retarded ass. why don't you play single player mode so you don't "lag" and end up bitching about it....
 
Who cares, people kill cow king all the time (not just koreans). And I know & play with a lot of koreans located here in Atlanta that play diablo. Yes, some of my friends are FOB's and have bad english(some very bad) and they don't understand what your saying. Just ignore em' because their most likely ignoring you. And a lot of koreans play on UsEast and UsWest because Asia realms are always laggy and full. I played on Asia realm once and it is really packed, so some really can't play on Asia realms so they go to Europe/UsEast/UsWest. I got screwed over from people killing cow king every other game. It's not just koreans that do this, why are you singling them out and not just blame everyone who kills cow king?

yes battlenet is laggy, have you ever played on Friday night? about 5000 ping all the time
my FPS is a constant of 79 FPS in high detail so i have no idea what you are talkin about when you say the game itself is CPU lag

it does not😛 i dunno, i have friends that play, they can drag your undeserving ass through the game at light speed if they're level 70+ with good stuff. hell i've dragged some characters through the game myself🙂 i just borrow cd key and use laptop. a bunch of my characters can make the damned cow level.
 
halogen, it's another "korean infestation." it's the same thing that happend to sc and broodwar. koreans arrive, annoy the old timers, and the old timers quit. that's why you don't see any of good sc or bw players on bnet anymore. if you ignore them, they won't go away. and if you antagonize them , u get a good laugh, but you'll just make them more competitive than they already are. enjoy.

first of all you must have a piece of $hit connection cause i havent lagged in quite a while..

second i can make a lvl 50 character in about an hour.

third there are alot of Koreans that happen to live in the States. (dont be ignorant)

I admit that some Koreans on the Bnet are really annoying but that doesnt make all Koreans annoying. Thats like saying that since there are some "cousin @#$% red necks" it means that all Americans are red necks. get a life yo.


noto12ious - i guess you havent played against some of the good players that are Korean. cause they would kick your ass. PERIOD

How the heck do I get to Lv 50 in an hour? I've been playing for about 10 hours and I'm only level 16

Also, a possible reason why some Asian may be on US West is because the Asia Servers suck big time. Asia 1 and 2 are commonly down or lag like heck. Asia is my default realm, but I play on US West or US East
 
the best i can do is about level 40 in 6 hours

if you play with people over 10 levels higher than you, your experience is just s***

have your friends (or another character u have) run you through the bare minimum quests to hell. then go into cow games and leech. you'd be surprised how fast u can level when theres 3-4 javazons in a cow series...🙂
