true, the reason pigs get a bad rap is because they have no sweat glans so the only way they can cool themselves is to roll around in mud / water.

however, their lack of sweat glans makes the meat of pigs not as "clean" as that of other animals.

You automatically assume dogs are man's best friend everywhere around the world. This is true in America, and in other cultures that raise dogs for the sole purpose as pets. But not true in asian societies, yes asians also have pet dogs, but asian pet owners wont jump and freak out when they see other people eat dogs, because dogs are not viewed as the sacred friendly animal that western society make it out to be in Asia. In America, if there were restaurants that served dog meat, you will see people freaking out and jumping all over it.

I have to disagree with you Mil, to argue that dogs are not made for eating.

To me, eating dogs is unsavory, just like eating roast field mouse. But they have their place in the food chain. If you have to eat another human to live would you?

They are made for eating in the way that they are made of meat, like human.
