i got a Koolance PC2-C case with their CPu-100 water block and my cpu appears to be running hot. at idle it is around 93-96 and under load it is well over a hundred. is this normal for a p4 socket 423 cpu @ 1.5ghz. it is not overclocked at the moment. i wanted to go water cooling because of the low noise, but when the fans are at 100% it is quite noisy. has anyone had any similar experiences or advice here? i used the arctic silver 3 compound with no luck. the hoses don't appear to be bent and both pumps are working fine to my knowledge. an email to webmaster@furad.com would be greatly appreciated.

THANX ALOT!!!

I always leave my pc - 601 in mode 2 (45% until 35c / 102f) and it will idle around the 33-34c mark. Your temps seem fine if slightly high - try leaving it on mode 1 and seeing how high it goes as long as its below 40-45c everything is OK. To solve my high temps when overclocked ( i am running a 1600xp @1743 - 1.95 v) I added a black ice micro radiator / case fan into the top case fan slot. Now temps stay around 35c load with a gpu block as well.

My guess is that your waterblock is not clamped on tight enough. You want it to be as tight (to a point) as possible. When I first began watercooling, my waterblock was not on tight enough and when i tightened it, my processor dropped 10 c.
