I think everyone who wanted a sub $100 laser has one by now. the office stores seem to have one every other week. I just got a 1350W last week no rebate for $70 locally. For free shipping it's a good deal on a nice light duty laser and a good find for sure though.

I've had my 1350W for about 2 years now. Only used lightly and I'm still on the "starter" toner cart. I love it, no problems and always ready!

Might also mention the replacement toner cart for this is about $45-50 from NE.

I switched the toner on my 1350 last fall for $80 to a full size toner.
Picked up the unit Feb 2004 from a Staples/OM price Match w/ rebate

End total was $15-20 - did not even have to pay sales tax.

Main unit can handle grandkids playing around it.

Only problem I have had was the driver installation did not work properly.

Yeah, picked up a 1350W about half a year ago for $50+tax (no rebates) at one of the office stores. I read up on how to remove some of the crap that gets installed with the drivers, and I've been pretty happy. It's the first printer I've actually owned since the used dot-matrix that I had for my Commodore64.

I use it lightly (~5 pages/week) at home, and I'm still on the starter toner. I guess I'll spring for a high-capacity ebay refill kit/chip when it comes to that...

I've had the 1350 for about a year, and I haven't had any issues. My wife uses it for school so it probably sees 10-25 pages/week at least, and it's still on the original toner cartridge.

Get out your wallet! I ordered the highcap 6000 pages toner cart from Newegg yesterday.....$115! OUCH! ...but, based on the life of my starter cart (1500 pages) it should last me about 5-6 years, lol.

Just a "starter cart", mine was rated for 1500 pages whereas the replacement one I just bought is good for 6000 pages.

Now that I've got it. I just found out that it might not work with a print server since it uses Microcraps GDI fonts.
