Anyone know if the kona from costco is any good?

Our local Costco sells Mountain Thunder Coffee. Mountain Thunder is an estate above the town of Kailua-Kona. It is award-winning coffee and has many followers. The farm was also featured in Mike Rowes "Dirty Jobs" Discovery Channel series.

Thanks. Ours must have 10 brands I haven't heard of. Don't want to experiment if I can help it.

Its Costco. You could return it if it sucks. I wouldn't but they will issue a refund for it.

Look for 100% Kona. Blends will be cheaper and not as good. I like estate or small farm beans, more to help the little guy, and you get interesting, subtle variations between them. Expect to pay 25 - 30 bucks a pound plus shipping.

The best thing to do is visit Hawaii and go on a sampling tour!
