That is a good deal for a true megapixel. However, the 2x zoom is digital, which is about useless, and I'm not sure it comes with a CF card, only the "2 MB internal". That should hold about 8 images. It is CF capable though, and there is a good deal on 64MB CF for about $65 on the board now. Do your homework and check the reviews before buying this camera.

Not sure if you can get an optical zoom this cheap though. You can do a better job digital zooming with Photoshop.

Digital zooming will always suck compared to optical whether its in Photoshop or in the camera.
All it does is &quot;fake&quot; the extra info based on the surroundings.

yeah but this is $100 less than the Powershot S10 camera, or about 40% cheaper, so you're getting about 40% less resolution.

it's a decent camera for a decent price, not as &quot;hot&quot; of a deal as the canon but it's still a great deal for a megapixel Kodak camera!
